At Ballet Hop!, we are a kind, inclusive, and welcoming ballet studio, both in our classes and in the way we handle personal information.
We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling personal information responsibly, in accordance with applicable privacy laws, including Québec’s Law 25, the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), and other applicable regulations.

2. Management platform – Momence

Ballet Hop! uses Momence as a subcontracted management platform to support:

  • class and workshop registrations;

  • client account management;

  • payment processing;

  • communications related to studio activities.

In this context:

  • Ballet Hop! acts as the Data Controller of personal information;

  • Momence acts as a Service Provider (Data Processor) and processes personal information solely on our behalf and in accordance with its legal obligations.

3. Personal information we collect

We may collect the following personal information:

  • first and last name;

  • email address;

  • phone number;

  • billing and payment information;

  • class registration details;

  • communications and comments you voluntarily provide.

Certain technical data may also be collected automatically through Momence, such as IP address, device type, and login data.

4. Purpose of collection

Personal information is collected and used solely to:

  • manage class registrations, schedules, and payments;

  • communicate with you regarding Ballet Hop! activities;

  • ensure the proper operation and security of our services;

  • comply with legal and regulatory obligations.

5. Disclosure and subcontracting

Personal information may be shared:

  • with Momence, as our service provider;

  • with essential third-party providers (e.g., payment processors), when required;

  • when legally required.

When personal information is processed outside Québec (including in the United States through Momence), appropriate contractual and technical safeguards are in place, in compliance with Québec’s Law 25.

Personal information is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected.
