Don’t worry! There are always lots of new people in the classes, and we are very welcoming 🙂
- Arrive 10 minutes early to check in at reception!
- You need comfortable clothing: leggings & t-shirt, leotard and tights, shorts and camisole, as you wish. The important thing is to be comfortable and feel good, so dress however you want!
- Ballet shoes or socks are recommended, along with a water bottle and hair tie! We will lend you a yoga mat and everything else for free if needed.
- Parking is hard on the Plateau and in Verdun, it is often metered. Fleury and NDG have several free on-street parking in the surrounding area, and Saint-Lambert has free parking adjacent.
- You can pay directly to the studio by cash, debit, credit or barter if you ever have a litter of puppies. We love puppies.

Brand new! we are now offering registration for the season for our regulars who come to the same class every week. In order to keep the group more stable and improve the quality of teaching, we invite you to register for the season (and save money!) On the other hand, it’s a little less flexible: you choose a class and return to the same one every week, for the duration of the season. We do not do exchanges, returns or refunds: That’s why the price is low!
Valid for the season purchased, in the same class each week and for the chosen studio. No return, exchange or refund possible.
With class cards, maximum flexibility awaits you. In fact, these cards do not expire and are valid for all children’s classes in the chosen studio. In other words, you can come every other week, do 8 weeks in summer and 4 in winter, in short, total freedom!

Classical ballet in its final form is not appropriate for children under 7 years old. It can create joint problems, growth problems, injuries and overwhelm children’s ability to concentrate. This is why we do pre-ballet (which is real ballet!) to learn what matters most: rhythm, musicality, movement, directions, the body in space, textures, work in a group, memory, proprioception… It may not look like Swan Lake and it may seem simplistic at times, but trust us: it’s the right path to develop a beautiful passion instead knee problems 🙂 PS: We are always happy to discuss our lesson plans, ask us for more details about our games and exercises!
We know that all parents like to see their little one at work and we understand 100%, but the answer is no. Apart from parent-child lessons, we ask parents to leave the studio quickly when their child arrives/not to squish their faces in the windows/not to block everyone’s passage in the door frame. This allows the instructor and assistant to do their work, and the little ones to concentrate. A bit like daycare or school! A recital in the form of an open class is also planned three times a year.
Each person who attends classes at the studio must have their own class card. So for two children, two class cards. That being said, we offer a $10 discount for references, so each child benefits from a discount on their lessons, ask us at reception!
Make sure you register the child under their own name, not yours!
Check that their age is correctly indicated in their account. Without a date of birth, the system will not allow children to register for classes.
Make sure you are choosing the correct age group.
Book classes on the computer rather than on the app!
